local wise team

our 2009/10 team, for youth 8 - 18, is well underway.  this year, our focus is on worship, intercession, spiritual warfare, and evangelism (WISE).  contact localteam@kkdenver.org for more info.

the format: we meet the 2nd saturday of each month during the school year, ending with a short-term outreach to.  during our monthly meetings, we focus on community outreach and personal character development - encouraging participants to know God more and do great exploits.  our outreaches have included ministry to: juarez, mx; hopi reservation, az; salt lake city, ut; meeteetse, wy; & kansas city, mo.

march 25 - april 3: haiti, relief and rebuilding opportunities in the greatest hour of need, $1850
may 25 - june 8: israel, journey with us as we pray through the holy land, $2800
june 26 - july 5: montana, ministry through sports and hands-on help, $300
july 9 - august 4: mozambique, loving on the littlest of these (orphan care), $2400 + airfare
